Pelleossa Rocking Chair by Miniforms
The Pelleossa Rocking chair by Miniforms, designed by Francesco Faccin, reinterprets the tradition of the rocking chair through the essential, slender design language of the Pelleossa collection. Its wooden frame is complemented by a base made of curved solid wood, while the seat—available in either leather or woven straw—reinforces its connection to artisanal craftsmanship.

Details and Measures
Design
Pelleossa Rocking evolved from the traditional Chiavari-inspired chair, transformed into a rocking chair with a contemporary character. The design retains the lightness and construction precision of the original Pelleossa, while introducing a new curved base that alters both the posture and the overall perception of the piece. Francesco Faccin’s design bridges memory and modernity: traditional materials and craftsmanship are employed to create a clean, recognizable silhouette, stripped of any superfluous elements.
Materials and Craftsmanship
The seat can be crafted from either leather or woven straw, both of which highlight the project’s artisanal roots. The leather is available in a variety of shades, including White, Ivory, Natural, Red, Burgundy, Dove Grey, Dark Brown, and Black.
Comfort and Functionality
The curved solid wood base allows for a fluid rocking motion, turning the Pelleossa into a piece designed for relaxation—all while maintaining the collection’s signature visual lightness. With a seat height of 36.5 cm, the Rocking version leans into a lounge-like feel, encouraging a more relaxed posture than a standard dining chair.
Versatility and Adaptability
Pelleossa Rocking is well-suited for living rooms, bedrooms, reading nooks, or hospitality spaces, where it serves as an accent piece dedicated to relaxation. Its slender structure and the use of natural materials allow it to fit into both contemporary interiors and more tactile, material-focused settings, where a nod to traditional craftsmanship becomes an integral part of the design.
