Ramblas Sideboard by Miniforms
The Ramblas sideboard by Miniforms, designed by E-ggs, combines the storage capacity of a sideboard with the display function of a bookcase. Slender wooden lines traverse the front panels, transforming the doors into surfaces designed to hold books and objects, while a unique folding-door opening system makes the piece both dynamic and functional. It possesses a minimalist charm, capable of defining a living space without ever feeling heavy or cluttered.

Details and Measures
Design
The defining feature of Ramblas lies in its doors, which are conceived as a bookcase. The delicate wooden grid applied to the front panels introduces rhythm and depth to the composition, turning what would typically be a closed surface into a decorative, display-oriented element. The design by E-ggs employs an essential, measured language, where geometry, material, and function coexist without any superfluous details. The result is a contemporary sideboard with a recognizable identity, suitable for both minimalist interiors and more material compositions.
Comfort and Functionality
The doors utilize a unique folding mechanism, allowing access to the interior storage space while preserving the distinctive structure of the front panels. Three sizes are available, each with a different configuration: the 120 cm version features one folding door; the 180 cm version combines a standard hinged door with a folding door; and the 240 cm version includes two folding doors. All configurations come with an internal shelf. In this way, Ramblas merges two complementary functions: storing items inside while using the exterior to showcase books, magazines, or small decorative objects.
Materials and Finishes
The frame is available in a wide range of lacquered finishes, while the doors can either match the frame or be crafted from wood. This versatility allows for monochromatic compositions or, alternatively, a design that highlights the door pattern through the contrast between a lacquered frame and natural wood.
Versatility and Adaptability
The three available widths allow Ramblas to be adapted to living areas of various sizes. The 120 cm compact version is suitable for more intimate spaces, while the 180 cm and 240 cm configurations make a more significant statement on a wall. Its dual function as a sideboard and bookcase makes it particularly suitable for living areas, dining rooms, and contract spaces where storage and display must coexist in the same piece of furniture.
