Details and Measures
Design
Bolide interprets the sofa with an intentionally bold presence, softened by continuous profiles and generously padded surfaces. The backrest and seat form an enveloping silhouette, while armrests can be integrated into the composition or added according to the chosen configuration. The continuity of the upholstery highlights the curves, giving the system a soft, tailored appearance. The result is a sofa with substantial proportions that remains visually balanced—designed to become the centerpiece of the living area.
Comfort and Construction
The padded structure features variable-density polyurethane foam, engineered to provide both support and softness across different areas of the seat. Comfort is further enhanced by a quilted layer of goose down, while a system of elastic webbing adds resilience to the seat. The custom-fitted upholstery follows the sofa’s volumes with precision, accentuating its soft, embracing aesthetic.
Upholstery and Customization
Bolide can be customized using Miniforms’ extensive selection of fabrics and wools, available in a wide array of textures and color palettes. The collection includes everything from sleek, uniform finishes to tactile, textured wools and fabrics with a strong sensory appeal—allowing the sofa to be styled in neutral tones or bolder, more striking colors. Given the generous surface area of the modules, the choice of upholstery becomes a key design element, capable of significantly transforming the character of the entire composition.
Versatility and Adaptability
The modular structure makes Bolide suitable for large residential living areas, as well as lounges, hotels, and contract spaces. Linear configurations can be used to create more traditional conversation areas, while corner elements and a chaise longue allow for the creation of more complex, informal arrangements. Anti-slip feet help keep the modules properly aligned, while still offering the flexibility to modify the composition over time.
