Details and Measures
Design
Iola approaches design with a keen focus on ergonomic form. The shell is shaped as a continuous, enveloping curve, with a soft profile that gives the stool a distinct and sophisticated identity. In this stool version, the seat is elevated on a slim, geometric frame that visually lightens the upholstered volume. The contrast between the softness of the shell and the precision of the base makes Iola well-suited for both residential interiors and contract spaces.
Comfort and Functionality
The shell is crafted from polyurethane foam, a material that allows for an ergonomic, comfortable shape while maintaining a clean, compact design. With a seat height of 67 cm, Iola is particularly well-suited for kitchen peninsulas and snack counters. The integrated footrest provides additional support, enhancing comfort during extended periods of use.
Upholstery and Finishes
The shell can be customized using Miniforms’ extensive selection of fabrics and wools, available in a variety of textures, colors, and categories. The combination of a dark base and customizable upholstery allows for everything from understated, monochromatic looks to bold, high-contrast color schemes.
Versatility and Adaptability
The Iola stool is ideal for kitchens with peninsulas, counters, living areas, restaurants, bars, and hospitality environments. Its compact silhouette allows for multiple stools to be placed side by side while maintaining an orderly composition, while the wide range of upholstery options makes it easy to coordinate with various color palettes and interior materials. Furthermore, the design maintains an aesthetic continuity with the chairs in the Iola family, ensuring a consistent formal language across dining areas, kitchens, and contract spaces.
