Details and Measures
Design
Iola stems from research focused on the ergonomics of form. The shell features a soft, enveloping geometry, shaped like a protective casing that supports the body while creating a seamless silhouette. In the Office version, the standard base is replaced by a four-spoke swivel base with casters, which lends a lighter visual appearance to the chair and highlights its functional, professional purpose. The result is an office chair that moves away from a strictly technical aesthetic, serving instead as a true piece of furniture designed to integrate naturally into contemporary interiors.
Comfort and Functionality
The shell is crafted from polyurethane foam, a material that allows for an ergonomic, soft, and welcoming shape. The swivel base facilitates movement around the workspace, while the casters allow for effortless repositioning without the need to lift the chair. With a seat height of 46 cm, Iola Office maintains balanced proportions, making it ideal for desks, meeting tables, and home office setups.
Upholstery and finishes
The shell can be customized by choosing from Miniforms’ extensive selection of fabrics and wools, available in a wide array of textures and shades. The range includes everything from smooth, uniform surfaces to more tactile, textured materials, allowing Iola Office to be tailored to any style—whether in neutral, professional tones or bolder, more distinctive colors. The base completes the design with lacquered finishes that coordinate with the rest of the collection.
Versatility and Adaptability
Iola Office is ideal for home offices, professional studios, executive offices, meeting rooms, and contract environments. Its soft, domestic-inspired design makes it well-suited for workspaces integrated into living areas—settings where a traditional task chair might appear too visually intrusive. The Iola collection also includes 'Basic' and 'Wood' versions, as well as a model with armrests, allowing for a cohesive design language across task, dining, and meeting seating.
