The Medley lamp by Gervasoni, a "ready-made" design by Concetta Giannangeli, interprets the concept of a pendant light through a lightweight, transparent conical structure. The shade is crafted from woven steel wire with a galvanic finish, creating an open mesh that filters light and generates ever-changing reflections and plays of light and shadow.

Design
Medley stems from an exploration of the relationship between metal and light. Its structure is formed by a radial weave that widens progressively toward the base, reinterpreting a technique traditionally associated with bamboo craftsmanship using steel wire. The metal mesh allows light to pass through without obscuring the source, transforming the pendant into a striking yet visually lightweight presence.
Visual Comfort and Functionality
The lamp is available in two sizes and two galvanic finishes: Helios and Frost. Its varied proportions make Medley suitable for use above a dining table, in a living area, or in multiple-lamp arrangements within larger spaces. Medley uses an E27 socket (max. 18W, 220V); the bulb is not included. It features a 250 cm power cable and a 200 cm steel suspension cable. The Medley lamp by Gervasoni transforms metal weaving into a luminous texture capable of altering the perception of space. Its open structure, galvanic finishes, and conical profile define a design by Concetta Giannangeli that strikes a balance between sculptural presence and visual lightness.
