Vistosi lamps: the art of glass becomes light

The Vistosi lamps bear witness to over four centuries of Venetian history, born in the furnaces of Murano and carried forward to the present day through the work of the company founded in 1945. Each piece is the result of the fusion between the artisanal mastery of Murano glassmakers and constant exploration of contemporary design, a journey that over time has involved design masters such as Angelo Mangiarotti, Gae Aulenti, and Ettore Sottsass.

This evolutionary process has led Vistosi to develop a distinctive design language, characterized by transparency, color, and volume, transforming the need for light into an aesthetic experience. For this reason, Vistosi lamps are a benchmark for those seeking prestigious lighting capable of adding character to any space.

Vistosi’s elegant glass creations

Vistosi transforms glass into lighting fixtures with versatile styles, ranging from traditionally crafted chandeliers such as Giogali and Diamante, to designs that experiment with the properties of glass, such as Anisette, Modulor, or Stardust.

Among the most famous Vistosi suspension lamps, Giogali is a 1967 design by Angelo Mangiarotti, a revolutionary project that remains relevant today. The lamp is built around a central element, a crystal hook that is replicated to create various compositions. Giogali, in its table, wall, floor, or pendant versions, embodies two hallmarks of Italian excellence: creative ingenuity and masterful craftsmanship.

Although it was designed in 2023, the Anisette lamp by Francesco Lucchese has become one of Vistosi’s classics, having been awarded the Compasso d’Oro. Its design recalls a traditional lantern, featuring two diffused white crystal shades that can be arranged in four different configurations to create a unique interplay of light and transparency.
