Design
Dalù retains the unmistakable shape of the original design, characterized by a continuous structure that integrates base and diffuser into a single volume. The soft curves lead the eye from the surface to the upper opening, creating a fluid and instantly recognizable silhouette. The light source remains protected within the body, while the light is directed downward and diffused through the side openings.
Lighting and Functionality
Dalù uses a Retrofit LED source with an E14 socket and a maximum power of 6W. The replaceable bulb allows you to choose the color temperature and light intensity best suited to your environment. The light directed toward the surface makes the lamp suitable for creating intimate and comfortable lighting, ideal for reading, relaxing, or as a decorative light fixture.
Materials and Production
The lamp is composed of a molded thermoplastic body. This construction solution allows for a continuous, lightweight form free of visible structural elements. The use of plastic harks back to the experimental era of Italian design in the 1960s, when new industrial processes allowed for the development of objects with innovative and accessible geometries.
