Noctambule Cone Floor Lamp

Design

The name "Noctambule"—the French term for a "night owl"—aptly captures the lamp’s dual identity.

During the day, the transparent glass cylinders allow the eye to pass right through, visually minimizing the structure’s presence. As daylight fades, the LED elements located at the junctions emerge, defining a vertical sequence of light.

In the "Cone" version, the composition concludes with a conical diffuser, which adds a sculptural element to the top and makes the lamp’s silhouette instantly recognizable.

The result is a balance between discretion and theatricality: Noctambule functions simultaneously as a lighting system, a technical object, and a sculptural presence.

Lighting and functionality

Noctambule Cone emits a diffused light with a color temperature of 2700K and a color rendering index (CRI) of 90.

The light source combines LED strips—inserted between the cylinders—with an 18W COB LED module integrated into the conical top diffuser.

The lamp comes with a foot-operated dimmer, allowing for light intensity adjustment from 10% to 100%. This enables the output to be tailored to the specific needs of the space, shifting from a soft, atmospheric glow to a more intense, commanding presence.

A wall-mounted power supply unit with interchangeable plugs is included.

The construction of Noctambule combines transparency and technical precision through a variety of materials:

The wide base contributes to the stability of the composition, while the transparency of the glass allows the lamp to extend vertically without creating a visually heavy presence.

The Cone 1 configuration is the most compact version in the family featuring a conical diffuser, maintaining the system’s sculptural character within a more modest composition.
