Concorde is one of the most recognizable tables in the Poliform collection. The design stands out for its ability to combine a commanding presence with a light, measured aesthetic, where solid wood legs meet the tabletop through clean, essential lines. The round configuration emphasizes the table’s sociable nature and creates a balanced composition, making it ideal for dining spaces where the table serves as the central focal point.
The central rotating "Lazy Susan" tray adds a functional element that is particularly useful for tables with a large diameter. Its rotation allows diners to easily reach dishes and courses placed in the center, enhancing the usability of the surface during social gatherings. This rotating component is visually integrated into the design, preserving the formal purity that defines the Concorde table.
The structure and legs are crafted from solid wood, available in a variety of Poliform’s signature timber finishes, including walnut, Spessart oak, and black elm. The tabletop can be finished in wood or a selection of marbles—such as Bianco Carrara, Calacatta Oro, Grigio Stardust, Nero Marquina, Sahara Noir, Verde Lepanto, Rosso Lepanto, or travertine. The option to coordinate the Lazy Susan with either the tabletop or the base allows for the creation of harmonious, unified looks or sophisticated material contrasts.
Its round shape makes Concorde particularly well-suited for spacious dining rooms and living areas, fostering a balanced seating arrangement and direct interaction among those at the table. The combination of wood veneers and marbles allows for either a more natural or a more sophisticated interpretation, all while preserving the design’s timeless character.
