AJ Royal is the pendant lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen for Luis Poulsen. A lamp made with 2 sizes for 2 different purposes. The cm 37 diameter lamp is made for being suspended in an high position and diffusing the light with a wide range, thanks to a opalescent lampshade which ensure 100% glare-free light. The bigger version, with cm 50 diameter, has been thought for a most common use, at a normal height, being without any kind of special lampshade. Both lamps are made with a spun aluminium frame, painted white, and steel circles which enlighten the whole diffuser.
