Details and Measures
Design
The leg with its triangular profile is the defining feature of Taboo. The structure's geometric design transforms a functional element into a key aesthetic feature, making the console suitable for settings where furniture must serve a decorative role alongside its practical function. When closed, Taboo fits easily into an entryway, a hallway, or along a living room wall; once extended, it completely changes its proportions and takes on the role of a full-sized dining table.
Dimensions and functionality
The metal structure incorporates an aluminum telescopic mechanism that allows for the progressive addition of extensions, adapting the table's length to the number of guests. Starting from a depth of just 45 cm, the largest version can reach a maximum length of 295 cm. Central support legs ensure the structure's stability in its fully extended configurations.
Versatility and Adaptability
A wide selection of materials allows Taboo to be styled to suit various interior design aesthetics. The tabletop is available in melamine, open-pore lacquer, wood veneer, mortar-effect finish, or ceramic, while the metal structure comes in a range of finishes. The option to choose between three or five extensions makes the console suitable for both compact spaces and for those who want a large table available only when needed.
