Noctambule Bowl Floor Lamp

Design

The name "Noctambule"—the French term for a night owl—reflects the lamp’s identity, which is built upon the contrast between day and night.

In natural light, the transparent glass cylinders blend discreetly into their surroundings, allowing the eye to pass through them and lending a visual lightness to the lamp’s vertical form. In the dark, the LED elements—situated at the points where the modules connect—emerge to define the structure.

In the "Bowl" version, the composition concludes with a hemispherical diffuser, which introduces a soft, distinct volume at the top and completes the silhouette with a broader, luminous element.

Noctambule thus marries geometric rigor with theatricality, serving simultaneously as a lighting system and a sculpture.

Lighting and functionality

Noctambule Bowl emits a warm, diffused light with a color temperature of 2700K and a color rendering index (CRI) of 90.

The light source combines four 9W LED strips with an 18W COB LED module integrated into the top diffuser, delivering a total power of 54W and a luminous flux of 1493 lm.

The lamp comes with a foot-operated dimmer, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted from 10% to 100%. This feature makes it possible to significantly alter the lamp’s presence in a space—shifting from a soft, atmospheric glow to a more intense, brilliant light.

The wall power adapter is included and comes with interchangeable plugs.

The Bowl diffuser

The defining feature of this configuration is the hemispherical upper diffuser, which completes the composition with a soft, highly recognizable geometry.

The "Bowl" shape creates an intriguing contrast with the series of cylindrical elements below, concentrating a more pronounced luminous presence at the top.

The 18W COB LED module integrated into the diffuser works in tandem with four LED strips positioned along the structure, creating a sophisticated light distribution that spans the entire length of the lamp.

With its vertical orientation and sculptural character, Noctambule Bowl is particularly well-suited for expansive, prominent spaces.

It is ideal for large living areas, entryways, conversation zones, double-height spaces, and any environment where light serves an architectural function.
