The quiet style of Tacchini

Tacchini has its roots in a tradition of craftsmanship, which it continues to honor through its commitment to tradition, quality, innovation, and respect for people and the environment. In the early 2000s, the company marked a turning point in its history through collaborations with the most prestigious names in design, reissuing iconic pieces and launching new collections that gave rise to a dialogue between past and present rich in identity and recognizability.

All Tacchini designs embody an eclectic and refined approach to furnishings, where tradition coexists with an openness to innovation, resulting in a style free of excess that blends harmoniously into any setting.

Designer armchairs with a tailored style

The Tacchini armchair collection fully embodies the brand’s spirit, featuring sculptural and bold designs that never veer into excess, thanks to the careful selection of materials and the sartorial precision with which they are crafted. Even the most original armchairs are not experimentation for its own sake, rather they are works of design of the highest quality and visual impact.

Among the new releases, highlights include the soft, organic shapes of the Julep armchair, whose inviting, rounded forms are lightened by the recessed base, and the Butter armchair by Faye Toogood, characterized by a protruding, curved backrest emphasized by side stitching.

The reissues produced by Tacchini offer a glimpse into the history of design, with armchairs created by the great masters of the past. The Costela armchair by Martin Eisler, for example, is an icon of 1950s Brazilian design, characterized by its enveloping structure of rounded slats and a wide range of fabric upholstery options, resulting in an armchair with a classic yet informal style. Another iconic design is the Additional System armchair by Joe Colombo, which is unpredictable and freely configurable thanks to its six modular cushions of varying sizes.

Tacchini’s product line also includes other great classics of Italian design, such as the works of Gianfranco Frattini, including the innovative Sesann armchair, an expression of the changing contemporary lifestyle of the 1970s and the need to experience spaces in an informal way, the Sancarlo armchair by Achille Castiglioni, and the Le Mura armchair by Mario Bellini.
