Hiver Pendant Lamp

Design

Hiver interprets the pendant lamp through the interplay of a textured surface and precise metal details. The fiberglass shade gives the lamp a distinctive presence, while the satin nickel metal canopy introduces a more technical, sophisticated contrast.

Special attention is also paid to the power cable—clad in nickel-colored metal mesh—transforming a typically purely functional component into a highlighted, visible feature of the design.

The result is a lamp with a strong identity, capable of enhancing the space even when not illuminated.

Lighting and functionality

Hiver uses an E27 light source, allowing for the choice of a bulb best suited to the room's needs and the desired lighting effect.

The maximum wattage is 60 W. The bulb is not included.

Suspension via a steel cable ensures the light fixture remains stable, while the 2.50 m length offers flexibility for installation at various ceiling heights.

Materials and details

The lamp consists of:

- Fiberglass shade
- Metal ceiling canopy
- Satin nickel canopy finish
- Steel suspension cable
- Metal-mesh-covered electrical cable
- Nickel-colored electrical cable
- Cable length: 2.50 m

The combination of fiberglass and metal creates a balance between materiality and precision, making Hiver particularly well-suited for contemporary interiors.

Versatility and adaptability

Hiver can be used above a dining table, coffee table, or kitchen island, or as a decorative lighting element in living rooms, entryways, and conversation areas.

The shade’s material presence allows the lamp to harmonize with surfaces made of wood, stone, concrete, and metal, while nickel details accentuate its contemporary character.

It is also suitable for contract and hospitality projects, where it can be used individually or repeated to create coordinated compositions.
