Block Cabinet

Design

Block interprets the sideboard through a clean, architectural composition built on the relationship between the storage unit and the massive base beneath it.

The upper volume maintains a rigorous, clean design, while the base introduces a material element that significantly alters the piece's character. The choice between concrete and various types of marble allows for configurations ranging from minimalist and natural to dramatic and striking.

The positioning of the storage unit on the base is determined during assembly, adding a dynamic, unconventional touch to the composition.

Functionality and storage

The sideboard features two doors enclosing an interior space organized with:

2 glass shelves.
1 structural shelf.

This layout allows for organized storage, accommodating tableware, glassware, accessories, books, or items suited to living and dining areas.

The glass shelves visually lighten the interior, while the structural shelf contributes to the unit's overall solidity and organization.

Materials and finishes

The structure is made of MDF and is available in the following finishes:

Matte lacquer.
Direct-gloss lacquer.
Mocha-stained ash.

The lacquered surfaces highlight the sideboard's geometric character, while the mocha-stained ash introduces a warmer, more tactile presence.

Base

The base is available in three different materials:

Concrete.
Travertine marble.
Fossil Green marble.

The concrete version emphasizes the more architectural and contemporary side of Block. Travertine introduces natural tones and a warmer texture, while Fossil Green marble lends the composition greater chromatic depth and a more pronounced decorative presence.

Customizable configuration

The positioning of the storage unit relative to the base is determined during assembly.

This feature allows for adjustments to the sideboard’s visual balance and the relationship between the two volumes, adapting the configuration to the specific characteristics of the wall and the room where it is placed.

Versatility and adaptability

Block can be used in the living room, dining room, or a grand entryway, serving as both a functional storage unit and a decorative element.

The various combinations of structure and base allow it to fit into both minimalist settings and interiors rich in material textures, where wood, stone, concrete, and lacquered surfaces combine to create a sophisticated composition.

Its architectural presence also makes it suitable for contract and hospitality spaces.
